New Responsive Website Launched For North Charleston Housing

North Charleston Housing now has a new responsive website. The upgraded website includes the addition of new colors, updated logos and layout, as well as new features. The responsive nature of the website allows users to easily navigate the website no matter what device is used to view the website (desktop, laptop, tablet, smartphone).

To help make this new website more accessible for all users (including those using adaptive technology), it has been built using Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.0 to address Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA) accessibility guidelines.

Our website is designed to provide business transparency for our families, commissioners, business partners, community stakeholders and the general public.

Some of the features/functions on our new site include:

Access to all portals offered by NCH on the home page of the website: Apply Online, Register Now, News Sign-Up, and Landlord Portal.

Calendar - The Calendar features a home page feed showing 5 upcoming Calendar entries with a link to the main calendar that offers categories of events for easy search.

Communities Map - Check out Affordable Housing properties on the interactive embedded Google map.

News Sign-Up - Those interested in subscribing can sign up on the website & can also (at any time) change their subscription or unsubscribe.

Publishing to subscribers via text/email - a great way to stay informed about things happening in the Housing Authority and its communities.
